On behalf of Colin Neighbourhood Partnership, Urban Villages and the Department for Communities welcome to our public consultation for the Colin Community Hub. The Colin Community Hub will be a modern building acting as a one-stop-shop for all the community's needs including child-care, education and training, a library, counselling and mental health, day-care and housing. The building is proposed to be centrally located in Colin Town Centre to give it good access from all the surrounding neighbourhoods and to be close to the Transport Hub.  The proposal includes child-care, day-care, training and employment, a library and counselling services, it also involves amendments to the existing car parking and the expansion of Colin Town Square. Praxis has a changing need for office space with more employees working on a more flexible basis and splitting their time between home working and office working. Following the Covid-19 pandemic the workplace solution needs greater space for fewer employees. Belfast based serviced apartment provider brings forward proposals for the former Masonic hall at 13 Park Road, Ormeau, Belfast. Project 50 Group is a Belfast based company specialising in the provision of serviced apartments with this proposal, should it go ahead, being their third location in Belfast. The proposal will see the retention, refurbishment and change of use of the building into 11 serviced apartments with car parking to the front of the building and landscaped open space to the rear. Ballyreagh Road development.

In 2019 an outline planning application was submitted for the whole of the land zoned for housing and open space between Bowtown Road and Movilla Road, that application is currently being processed.  This proposal is to develop the southern part of the area in line with the 2019 master plan. Because of Covid-19 it is not advisable to hold a traditional consultation event and we have decided to hold a virtual event on Zoom instead.  That event will take place on 15th February between 10:00am and 1:00pm and 2:00pm and 4:00pm, please email admin@pragmaplanning.com to register and reserve a place. Although we had hoped to have our virtual event on 16 December 2021 Planners asked that the design was developed further, so a more detailed design of the proposal will be made available in…
